A warm welcome to all who are visiting us virtually during this time of lockdown.
Our normal Sunday morning 10.30am service and children's groups in the church are currently suspended during the lockdown, but there is still plenty going on for you to access online.
For adults we have a weekly service followed by coffee and chat over video conferencing and several courses running during the week. Our weekly missive from Dave our vicar is available to keep you up to date with the latest news. Visit our "Welcome to Online Church" area to find out more.
For children there is a weekly kids session for them to watch and engage with, a story telling area where they can listen to a story being read, songs to singalong with, a craft section where they can download pictures to make and a gallery where we upload the pictures they email in. Visit our "Families Area" to find out more.
Please do with us if you would like to know more, or need help in any way.
Letter from our Vicar
Dear St Mary’s White Waltham Church Family,
Following advice received from the Church of England, and in line with government guidance, we have put our usual pattern of Sunday services on hold. This is not a decision we take lightly. It is an expression of Christian love that we do what we can to support the national effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
As our nation responds to the developing coronavirus situation many of us will naturally feel anxious and concerned. It is wonderful that we can hold onto the truths of Psalm 46:1, ‘God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.’ Even in times of trouble, God is with us by his Spirit to protect, strengthen and help.
Small group meetings in the life of the church are being accomplished in other ways. If you are interested in learning more do get in touch. I trust we will all take part in encouraging each other, spurring one another on to good deeds, and looking to bless our communities in the name of Jesus.
With Love in Christ Rev Dave
